Academics
The educational program at Tesla is designed with a balance of academics, language, skills, and experiences, featuring the exclusive STAMPLES framework which integrates Science, Technology, Arts, Mathematics, Physical Education, Language, Experience, and Skills–Attributes. Through project-based learning, students practice critical thinking, presentation skills, and teamwork, helping them learn how to ask questions, defend their viewpoints, and confidently present their thoughts before a group.
English at Tesla consists of a minimum of 13–14 periods per week, implemented by integrating with Vietnamese subjects instead of being just a standalone subject. The school utilizes the copyrighted Cambridge curriculum for the three core subjects—ESL, Mathematics, and Science—helping students form language proficiency naturally, systematically, and sustainably, while developing academic thinking in English right from the primary level.
The horizontal competency framework is designed with the following output standards:
CEFR / CAMBRIDGE COMPETENCY FRAMEWORK
Grade 1: Pre-A1 / Starters
Grade 2: A1/Movers
Grade 3: A1+/Movers+
Grade 4: A2/ Flyers
Grade 5: A2+ / B1/ PET
A standout difference in Tesla’s program is providing students with early access to international simulation and debate activities such as the World Scholar’s Cup (WSC) and Model United Nations (MUN). Through these activities, students not only practice reasoning, debating, and persuasion skills but also learn to listen, respect differing perspectives, and form the mindset of a global citizen—confident, knowledgeable, and responsible toward the community.
We believe that equipping children with thinking abilities, expression skills, and the courage to integrate right from the primary level is the vital foundation for them to step forward steadily on the long educational journey ahead.
